Building Boats to Last a Lifetime
With years of experience in boat building, rigging and repair, we’ve seen time and again how cutting corners on materials, methods and design can shorten a boat’s service life, make it costlier and more difficult to work on, and even make it less enjoyable to own and use.
The defining characteristic of Grand Slam Boats is that we cut none of those corners. The fact is that most of today’s center console fishing boats perform admirably; the greater differences lie in engineering and construction. We build boats that are a pleasure to own, operate, and service, and we build them to last a lifetime.

Introducing the Grand Slam GS36
A versatile, proven hull design that performs well with twin 300s up to triple 450s, the GS36 incorporates a 22.5˚ deadrise and a traditional non-stepped bottom for predictable performance at a wide range of speeds.
Many factory-direct boat builders offer buyers some level of customization. At Grand Slam, we offer much greater flexibility. In fact, we don’t use a liner mold, so there’s no such thing as a standard layout. Aside from the hull itself, almost everything can be customized to your needs — seating and deck layout, console configuration, fuel capacity, bait well, fish box, and dry storage capacity and configuration, and much more.

Mil-Spec Strength, Yacht quality finish
With a laminate schedule professionally engineered to meet military specifications, obsessive attention to detail, and an unwavering dedication to superior craftsmanship, the GS36 is built to last a lifetime and finished to superyacht standards. We are so confident in the quality of our product that we offer a lifetime hull warranty for the original owner.
By spending the time and money to properly engineer all structural components, we can deliver a lighter, stronger boat with under-deck storage that rivals larger vessels. For example, all materials in the laminate schedule are CNC-cut to prevent overlaps and gaps and to ensure continuous hull laminates and absolute consistency in weight and other characteristics from hull to hull.
For even greater strength and longevity, stringers are vacuum-infused together with the hull, rather than glued or glassed in after hull infusion is complete. This yields a truly one-piece product. Further, every part of every boat is vacuum-infused. A carefully calculated process ensures consistency and quality, but we still infrared scan each hull in the mold to be certain.
Using a combination of advanced technology and traditional craftsmanship, each boat is finished to superyacht quality. Exterior surfaces are hand-faired with traditional long-board sanding, while the interiors of compartments and even the bilge area are fully faired and finished with top-quality marine coatings. You will not find rough fiberglass with brushed-on gelcoat anywhere on a Grand Slam boat.
We also take great pride in using American-made materials and components wherever possible. All resin and fiberglass is made in the U.S.
